How to rank your appliance repair website locally on Google

In a post in December I mentioned how I wanted to start putting information up on my site periodically regarding the business side of running an appliance repair related company  Prior to getting involved with appliance repair as my part time gig, I developed websites and learned how to drive traffic to them (Also part-time).  One of our website replaced my wife’s income as she became a stay at home mom.  In the early days, the only options you had to rank on the search engines were organic (free) and paid listings.  Now there is a third option to rank on search engines that can also be free.  That third option for Google is called Google Places or Google + local.  Yahoo and Bing have their own local listing service.  Since Google is the most used search engine, we will be focusing on Google.   I’m still learning and growing in this skill, but I’m going to show you what I’ve learned thus far, that has helped me and other rank in the search engines.

The information that I show you in this video will help you get traffic from Google if you are an appliance repair technician, sell used appliances  or own any other business that has a website. Check out the video below:

On Page SEO

In the video below I explain how to modify your pages in order to rank in search engines.  If you don’t have a website, I can install WordPress for you for free.  Assuming that you have already purchased a domain name, all that you have to do is sign up for hosting via this link and then email me back the login info for your hosting account.  If you don’t know how to set the name servers for your domain name, I can do that to, but will also need your login info for your registrar ie Goddaddy.  Use coupon code 1cent to get started for a penny.
